Making A Purchase
By placing an order with us online you are deemed to have read and understood these Terms & Conditions and are happy to enter into a contract with us on your acceptance of the invoice (normally sent with order). We have a minimum online purchase limit of £12.00 (excluding postage). We have tried to make buying from Parklife Online as stress free as possible and making a purchase couldn't be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. Depending on how you wish to pay you will be taken to either the secure pages of RBS WorldPay or PayPal, again, totally secure to enter your credit /debit cards details before coming back to our final order receipt page.
We accept all forms of credit/debit card payment.
Upon completion of your order you will receive a confirmation email detailing the whole order, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Delivery Options Please Note: As all orders require a signature upon arrival with you we are powerless to direct parcels to be left in sheds, behind bin, etc, however we are more than happy to deliver to an alternative address be it, work, family or friend, you will have the option of selecting a different delivery address during checkout.
1st Class Delivery 1st Class delivery is priced at just £2.99 per order and provided the order is received and payment cleared by 2pm weekdays will be despatched same day by Royal Mail 1st class recorded packet post. Upon processing the order, once the payment has cleared an email will be sent to the email address provided that will contain your packages tracking numbers.
Next Day* Delivery Next Day Delivery is competively priced at£5.99 per order and provided the order is received and payment cleared by 2pm weekdays will be despatched same day by Royal Mail Before 1pm Next Day. Upon processing the order, once the payment has cleared an email will be sent to the email address provided that will contain your packages tracking numbers.
*Next Day is defined as next business day, i.e. Monday thru' Friday (excludes public holidays) and order to be placed and payment completed by 2pm
Collect Collect your order. As it says you may simply elect to collect the order from our Whitby office/warehouse. If doing so please continue through checkout at which time we will keep the item/s ordered on reserve for one week (unless agreed otherwise) without authorising payment. Prior to travelling any distance we would suggest calling us on 01947 601110 to ensure the items are ready and we the store is open.
International Delivery European delivery is £9.99 Worldwide delivery is £12.99.These charges are based on package weight/size and will be automatically calculated at checkout. All international orders are shipped using Royal Mail. During the delivery process the order will pass between the UK mail service (Royal Mail) and the service of your country, at this time there is often a short delay due to tighter security, import and customs controls being in place at different places around the world. You are advised to order early to avoid disappointment. You may also be required to pay import duty and charges relating to the importation of goods ordered. You are advised to check your countries laws before placing your order as you will be solely responsible for any levied charge. We have no control over any charges demanded. All orders are shipped in accordance with UK governing rules.
Free Delivery From time to time we may offer Free Delivery on certain products ranges. When you select a product that includes Free Delivery the checkout will automatically remove delivery costs and your item will, by default be sent using our Economy Delivery service (as shown above). Should you require your item quicker you will have the option of upgrading to either 1st Class or Next Day services at checkout.
Free Delivery Over £ (UK only) Again from time to time we may offer Free delivery upon your order reaching a set amount, any order reaching this amount (excluding delivery costs) your will qualify for Free economy delivery. Should you wish to upgrade to a speedier service any such upgrade will become chargeable.
Failed Delivery In the event of no-one being able to receive the delivery, Royal Mail should leave a card informing you that the package will be held at your local sorting office. You will need to contact the sorting office to arrange redelivery or to collect the package, failure to do so within a reasonable time may result in the package being returned to us.As all deliveries require signing for we can only include the delivery address on the package and no instructions to leave with neighbour/behind bin can be added. Any decision to leave without a signature is at the discretion of the person delivering the mail and may be based upon previous experience at your address. If you are expecting a guaranteed delivery, again it will require signing for upon delivery. If no one is available to accept it a card should be left informing you it will be held at the local sorting office. As long as an attempt has been made we will be deemed to have fulfilled our guarantee to you.
Stock Availability All orders placed on this website are subject to stock availability, as we operate not only this website but also a real "bricks and mortar" shop therefore it may be that some items will now and again become temporarily unavailable, should this occur we will contact you by either telephone or email. We have stock arriving most days and can usually service most orders within 7-10 days. *Please note, unlike many other websites we do not process payment until we have checked stock availability and are in a position to complete your order.
Delivery Schedule The time taken to receive your order depends on many factors, namely the service you select during the checkout, your geographical location and time of year.
UK Standard delivery can generally take up to 3/7 business days, 1st Class upgrade is normally 1/3 business days whilst 48hr delivery is guaranteed on weekdays only. Back Orders If an item/s ordered becomes unavailable we will email you as soon as possible. In many circumstances we may however be able to order further stock direct from the manufacturers but this can take upto 21 days. If upon receiving any such email you would rather amend/cancel your order please contact us IMMEDIATELY as we will automatically process this order if replenishment stock arrives within a reasonable time at which time you may become responsible for any costs incurred in returning goods to us.
Tax Charges All clothing up to age 14 years is exempt of VAT as is footwear up to size 3. Items outside of the above exemptions attracts VAT at the current rate of 20% and will be charged to all orders made from within the UK or the European Union. All other orders are VAT free.

Returns Policy Returns, now with even less hassle for a better online experience
If you need to exchange/return something simply call 01947 601110 or click Here to complete our online returns section or click Here to email us and we will issue a unique returns number. Add the number issued to the tear off returns label that comes enclosed with your invoice, securely attach it to the parcel to be returned and pop it to the post office, simple!
The small print, there has to be some, sorry!!
All items to be returned in new, unworn condition with all labels attached and packaging intact.
All items to be returned must arrive with us within 14 days of your original receipt of goods. Any items arriving back after this time may be returned to you at your cost. We do not make any exceptions to this ruling.
Any package returned with insufficient postage whereby we are required to pay the delivering company the correct postage/release fee will be charged to the sender and any such amount deducted from the final refund. We keep proof of any such payments for a period of up to 3 months should you wish to view them.
All responsibility for any goods being returned rests with you the sender until we receive them therefore we advise you obtain at minimum a proof of posting certificate (free at all Post Offices). For further piece of mind you may wish to insure the goods being returned by way of using Royal Mails Recorded Delivery service. All costs associated with returning items will be your responsibility.
Please enclose all paperwork including invoice and receipts (You are more than welcome to keep the Parklife V.I.P Card, if issued, for future use or to pass on to a friend or relative).
Requests for exchanges will be offered subject to stock availability (In the event of an exchange, Parklife will happily cover the cost of sending the new item out to you, however it will sent using a recorded economy service).
*Amount of refund will be that paid minus postage and this amount credited within 10 days to the original account used. Should you wish to return any item/s from an order that previously qualified for Free delivery you may do so but should this take your order below the Free delivery threshold a charge of £1.99 (equal to the cost of economy delivery) will be deducted from any refund due.
Any free gifts supplied must be returned unopened and intact otherwise they will be deemed damaged and in this event we will be unable to offer a full refund and the goods returned to you at your cost or a deduction of 50% to any refund amount due.
Any item returned appearing to have been worn will be examined and if in our opinion it has been used it will be returned to you at your cost.
We can only offer to exchange once per order, once one item is exchanged we will not be able to then offer further exchanges or refunds.
Please Note: Whilst our website will automatically issue (by way of email) a returns number we are not bound to accept/process any return that does not fully comply with all of the above rules.

Items brought in store may be subject to different terms and conditions to those online. We cannot accept returns that are brought online that are subsequently brought into the store for exchange or refund. We also cannot accept postal returns of items originally brought instore. Remittance Terms We ship your goods once we have received credit card authorisation. In the event that your card is refused, we will e-mail you and ask you to supply another card or to contact your bank to arrange clearance. Our terms do not affect your statutory rights
